The European market leader in ventilation and indoor climate has received its business license for the latest affiliates: Swegon Indoor Climate Systems (Shanghai) Co.., LTD. in China.

Swegon´s office is located in Shanghai in eastern China. - By being located here, we are able to cover the major markets of China, namely Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou in southern China says Andreas Engström, Country Manager, and adds: We are currently two people working here at the office, but more will be hired in 2012 to market selected products from Swegon´s product portfolio.

The market for indoor climate solutions in China is substantial and offers many opportunities now and in the future. The Chinese government plans to invest 7 billion CNY in the construction industry between 2011 and 2015. One of the highest priorities for the government is to reduce the environmental impact that this huge investment will bring.

- With our energy-efficient systems, we are well positioned to meet these demands says Anders Engström. Along with the growth of LEED-certified projects in China, the company's long experience in Green Building and LEED will help to further develop Swegon China operations.
