New number of Chinaresearch

Wednesday, 02 May 2012.

In this number of Chinaresearch.se we try again to apply both macroeconomic and microeconomic angles on the Chinese economy - a mix of analysis we strongly believe in.

This time we have three different angles on the Chinese economy. Bestseller author Frank Sieren makes a number of illuminating comments on Prime Minister Wen Jiabao’s feeler on the need of reforming the Chinese banking sector. Paul Thomas - chief economist at Intel - gives us some interesting aspects on the fact that China has become the largest national market for computer as measured in units.

This is another example on China’s way to many (most) number one positions in the world. Hubert Fromlet from LNU finally makes some remarks on the difficulties of interpreting Chinese statistics and policy decisions.
